As Ireland’s Premier PV Solar Installation company we take pride in all our PV installations ensuring a professional, efficient and friendly service that is tailored to your needs. When choosing Solar PV for your property, an essential step is for one of our experienced staff to visit your property and conduct a site survey.
We provide a free, no obligation site visit observing all social distancing measures. The object of the visit is to ensure that the system devised for you will be suited to your needs and can be installed adhering strictly to all the current SEAI and Safe Electric guidelines and regulations.
During our visit we will:
Survey your roof or surface area in the case of ground installation
Solar PV panels can be fitted to either a flat or sloped roof and we will survey the roof to ensure there is sufficient space and discuss how the panels will be mounted. If you chose ground mounting, the area chosen will be surveyed for suitability.
Identify your orientation
Orientation of the panels towards the sun is fundamental to maximising energy output. We will assess the best position for the Solar PV panels and identify any possible shading by nearby objects, such as chimneys, tress etc.
Plan the array of solar panels
Taking into account your energy requirement, your orientation and the particular requirements of your chosen installation surface, an array of solar panels will be designed in conjunction with you.
Plan the installation process
We will identify the best possible route to connect the panels to your electrical system ensuring the least amount of disturbance to your property. We will also decide on the location of the inverter, battery and any other components that are required. Where possible we will always try to identify as many options as possible for locating your system components.
Take a short video
To ensure our installation team positions all items as discussed, we will take a short video, with your permission, clearly stating the location of all items. This video is sent to the installation team. We will also guide you through your SEAI grant application and assist in organising a BER assessment if required.
